When to go: Barcelona is always packed with tourists and business travelers, hence the main factor that dictates when to visit falls pretty much on the weather. Usually, fall, spring and early summer are the best times to travel to Barcelona as the temperatures average pleasantly around 21° - 25° C. High summer (mid July - late August) can be insufferably hot and humid, and may best be avoided as local shop and business owners close for the month and evacuate themselves to somewhere cooler. If you're from somewhere cold, a winter break in Barcelona may be a good getaway as the temperatures amiably hover around 13° C.
